Are you getting tired of these FLOWER Beauty Color Play Crème Eyeshadow blog posts yet?! I’ve already done swatch & review posts for the shades Lilac You A Lot! (post here) and Good As Mari-gold (post here). So today’s post will be my third swatch & review post of these crème eyeshadows, and it is featuring the shade Flirty Floret.
As you may know by now if you have been following my other reviews on these eyeshadows, there are 12 total shades available. The crème eyeshadows retail for $7.98 and you receive 0.12 oz / 3.5 g of product. These are available for purchase on Walmart’s website or in-store.
- Enriched with Vitamin E for antioxidant protection
- Long-wearing formula
- Water-infused, weightless finish
- Lid-smoothing texture
- Buildable, blendable coverage
- Moves beautifully during application then sets without creasing
- Easily removed with make-up remover
FLOWER Beauty is a cruelty-free drugstore brand, and the packaging is pretty classy for how affordable these products are. I have noticed with my oldest crème eyeshadow (Lilac You A Lot!) that they do begin to dry out & harden in spite of being covered with the inner seal and the cap being tightly closed. I’m looking into ways to extend their life-span and possibly rehydrate them when they begin to reach that point. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to share them with me!!
The shade Flirty Floret is a rich, chocolatey shade that has subtle bronze shimmer throughout it.
Like I said in my past reviews of FLOWER Beauty’s crème eyeshadows, I prefer to use these as a base to enhance powder eyeshadows and also prevent creasing. This is a great base color to be used under a shade like Black Rose Minerals’ “Lovefool” (which I have swatched in this post).
I have warmed up to this product a lot recently, I may pick up another shade sometime in the future. But so far, out of the three I have now, “Good As Mari-gold” is my favorite and most used one.
